Paying by cheque or banker’s draft. You need to factor in the time it will take us to receive the cheque and the time it will take for the cheque to clear. This method will delay your order. Your order will not be made up until funds have cleared.

Returns & Refunds You have the right to return the goods within 7 working days. Providing the goods are returned in the same condition that they were in when they were delivered to you then a full refund will be given within 30 days of the goods being returned. The cost of returning the goods will be with you. We reserve the right to examine products (and / or photographs) claimed to be defective. Goods will not be accepted for return unless by prior arrangement with us first. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Warranty Subject to proper normal use and maintenance as recommended by us the tables carry a 4 year guarantee against wood rot. Timber is a natural product and may over a period of time form cracks, shakes, and fissures as the timber dries. This is a natural process. It does not affect the overall strength and durability of the timber. It is possible for the timber to change colour over a period of time and may also contain knot holes and is not covered by the warranty. Most of the above can be delayed by careful maintenance as recommend by us.

Your warranty covers the replacement of these goods. It does not cover any travel expenses, lost wages, or labour costs involved in the installation or replacement of the part.

No warranty is offered on products subjected to abuse, negligence, improper use, acts of God, adaptation, or attachments to other than our own recommendations and or approved appliances.

The tables are made for residential and /or commercial use.

Assembly and maintenance All tables are delivered by The Picnic Table Company Flat Packed. The table top, bench seats and "A" frame legs come pre assembled with all holes cut ready for assembly. step by step instructions will be provided. Assembly instructions should be followed and no adaptations made to our products. Any adaptation will void your warranty.

The pressure treated timber used on the roof of the Berkeley Table will naturally, over time, change colour through green, to brown, and then turn grey.

Please note: Delivery can be made to all main land, England, Wales & Scotland. Island destinations around the UK may be possible. The Picnic Table Company will not accept responsibility for any third parties used to deliver our products as these are out of our control.

On the day of delivery YOU WILL NEED to be present at the delivery address to sign for the product and advise as to where you want the table to stored / erected.

An able bodied person should be available who can assist the delivery driver to unload your products if necessary. A clear access /and a power point/ will be required.

In the event of us having to redeliver there will be a charge of £95 Plus labour of £22.50 per hour, based on delivery time from our main office as listed.

Inspecting Your Delivery:

You will be asked to inspect your table and any other products we the Picnic Table Company have delivered.If you spot any damage then it must be noted on the delivery note. Your signature means that you are accepting the delivery as being received in good condition.

In the event of you not accepting our product when delivered we reserve the right to charge a re stocking fee of no less than 50% of the value of the product. Re delivery will be charged out at 35p per mile round trip.
